Virus detected on my computer?

I've tried Avast before and it sucks. As far as free virus protection goes, AVG is the best, most comprehensive you can get and only gets better with the paid versions.

If your definition of "acting superior" is having basic requirements for the things I spend my money on, then yeah I guess I am better than anyone who would be dumb enough to think a Windows machine is actually a good idea.

Point out where I said anything about what my OS is, because I've gone back and looked and, well, I don't see it. In fact, I'm fairly certain... no, concretely certain... that I was talking about virus protection software.
