Theres a scene where a swat member takes down a bad guy with and ar-15 and manually racks the charging handle like its a bolt action.

One other thing (related to the movie itself, not the guns): Ben Affleck should not have cast himself as the protagonist in this film. I agree with the Salon reviewer who pointed this out - it makes him look too vain. What I would have liked to see is him playing either Jeremy Renner's or Jon Hamm's roles (either of which would have surely been more challenging and would have demonstrated his versatility as an actor...if he'd been up for the challenge).
And with all due respect to Jeremy Renner, he's a good actor, but he had no business playing opposite Affleck. I think I spent most of the movie wondering how Doug (Affleck's character) could be intimidated by him. He's like a foot shorter, and much skinnier. The scene where he kicks Doug's ass and pistol-whips him was just sooo unbelievable that it's not even funny.
