One more thought on MINIMUM standards for a new page

There are now a bunch of NEW pages, made by NOOBS which have only ONE gun in them. If the page has no GOOD screencaps, or the weapon is not highlighted nor pivotal to the movie, these pages SHOULD NOT be taking up server space.

What is up with Noobs desperate to list their particular favorite movies, even though those movies barely have a gun in them?

I've said it 100 times. Better to have 90 Complete and thorough pages than 9000 sparse or lame ones!

I'm going to start deleting lame pages that DO NOT Conform to the quality standards of IMFDB.

And I seriously suspect that the new members who are making these pages are youngsters. (no, not age discrimination, but adults are the official MINORITY of IMFDB users for a while now)

I think they're just the silent majority. According to the demographic stats, which aren't 100% accurate, most of the viewers of imfdb are 18-34, and the 35-49 actually outnumber the 3-17 year olds.

Interesting. But they must NOT be active at all. 99% of the interaction I seem to have with other members seem to be with teenagers (anyone UNDER the age of 20).

I suppose it's like having 100,000 registered voters but only 500 actually go to the polls. I only count those who actually 'do stuff'

Probably because people under the age of 20 are more likely to not know what they're doing.
