Good quote GM45! Seriously. For the record, everyone who works in the industry hates Pirates. They're a primary reason why production has either collapsed or moved overseas (to save money due to anticipated piracy). Anyone who doesn't think that it is wrong, has lost my respect.

MPM hopefully when we get an Official Youtube account I can arrange a debate between yourself and a member of Sweden's Pirate Party. As long as things stay civil then it would be a great thing to watch.

So you're saying that Long John Silver, Captian Hook, Captian Crunch, Jack Sparrow, a bunch of Somali's, and Mr. Smee are on your enemies list?

I do buy legal copies of movies I like, but there are a LOT of bad movies that I really don't think deserves my money.

Well even if the director and screenwriter do a shitty job of making a film, that doesn't mean the people who aren't millionares who worked on it don't deserve their cut of the profits.

Those guys get paid buy the studios already. The writers don't get the big bucks if the movie is successful or not. Depends on the contracts, which usually aren't that much anyway. If you are trying to say that me not paying for a movie won't get the film crew paid, that isn't true. They already got their money for whatever work.

And blaming the decline in good movies or production value on pirates is a poor excuse when pirating movies isn't the actual problem here

Then don't WATCH them.

Or you can watch with friends who legally rent or buy the movie. Or even borrow the movie from a friend who got it from NETFLIX.

But to patronize any ILLEGAL market of bootleg movies is just wrong. It helps the pirates and hurts the industry. The fact that you're watching a movie which is still in theaters smacks of serious piratry. And it is seriously frowned upon by the industry (and it's lawyers).

What difference does it make to watch a movie for free if you weren't going to pay for it anyway?
