The people who work at that gunstore are morons. There is NO restriction on a threaded barrel for a BOLT ACTION rifle. The 'so called' no no features like pistol grip, bayonet lug, flash hider, threaded barrel etc etc etc are for auto loader center fire rifles and auto loader center/rimfire pistols. We don't need ignorant gun owners making the situation worse than it actually is.

It can be tough sometimes. Being in the military and being from a law enforcement and military family, I've come to love some of the weapons that I have had the chance to fire. I have always wanted to build a black gun for myself, I think it is too much of a hassle to make sure it is within the law. I will just make due with my shotguns and handguns until then. While I am all for some of the gun laws here, i.e. the background check and waiting period, I sometimes can get a little upset having to wait 30 days to purchase a new handgun.
