I just made a page for the GAU/19-A, so that's another down.

Gunmaster,
The GAU-19/A was origionally a General Electric product and from what I dug up when gathering sources for it's Wikipedia page. The GAU-19/A is an enlarged Minigun and I treated it as such and I had previously added it as a Minigun Varient.

Still nice work.

I was wondering why you called it the "little brother". I'm not a pro on Miniguns and and don't usually visit wikipedia unless I know absolutely nothing on a gun.

I'm glad I made the page though, I was watching Hulk (2003) last night and the helicopters (I think they are Cobras but I'm no good with choppers) had chin-mounted Miniguns with three barrels, so I believe they were GAU-19/As.

Gunmaster the AH-1 series Cobra helicopter has an M61 Vulcan varient mounted in the chin turret. the varient is called the M197 and I have added it to the M61 vulcan page already.

When I can find someone with a copy of the origional Bubblegum Crisis series I am going to have an interesting time as the Firebee Minicopters are packing the M197 when a GAU-19/A would be more realistic. Yeah I've seen the series and I have the game and the production notes are really interesting.

The helicopters which attack Hulk are RAH-66 Comanches, which is a stealth gunship that was supposed to be entering service with the U.S. Army at the time the movie was made. But only a year after the movie came out, the Comanche program got canceled.

Actually, the very earliest Cobras had a Minigun and a grenade launcher in the chin turret, but I guess that's just nitpicking.

BTW Rockwolf, you can call me John if you want, it is a lot shorter than Gunmaster.

I don't know anything about helicopters so I'll take your words for it. I'm nabbing some shots from Hulk now, I'll make sure I label them as M197.

no problem John,
We all have our strenghts and our weaknesses when it comes to firearms. Trust me I'm related to a gun collector and while I can get firearms down to a specific family I'm lost when it comes to some of the more numerous subtypes.

Le gasp! I sort of have a Type 99 Arisaka! Not the means to get a good photograph though, I'm sure.
