FN pistols are a good value, the FNP 45 is 600 bucks with 3 mags and case.

I've seen FNPs for less than that on GB and even in stores, but that is about right. FN is a little on the high side with some of their products but they are quality and not overly expensive. They could work out something with the Hi-Power prices and availability though. 800 bucks if you can find it is a bit unreasonable.

H&K doesn't "suck dick" just because Larry Correia doesn't like them. They are (he is correct about this) over-rated and over-priced.

Not an HK fan, there not junk (except the overpriced overneurtered sl8) but think they cost too much for what you get, have the mg release in the wrong place (trigger guard, wtf?) and they have no real appeal to me. Grips seem comfy on the hk 45 though.

If I were to buy an H&K, it's be one of their older designs like the HSc, HK4 or P7

Oh, yeah, and as for the SCAR, my new range has one available for rent. I'm thinking of trying it out this weekend to see how it shoots. I'll have my AR, too, so I'll be able to compare them on the spot.

Lucky. Tell us how the SCAR stacks up to the AR after you compare, if you decide to rent it

I want to get the HK45 or the P30, which is the 9mm of the HK45. The grips on those are extremely comfortable compared to the USPs. That would be the only thing HK I'd get unless someone's selling a 94 or 53 or even the 91. I'd pay money for those guns
