Weapons Master usually (thought not always) means the guy who not only provides the weapons, but does a lot of the on set training (and it refers A LOT to edged weapons experts as well as gun experts).

So No, I was talking about posers, not professionals
Couldn't agree more, that's just annoying as all hell.

Interesting point - the commander of the sniper det in a CF infantry battlion is known as the UMS - Unit Master Sniper. After seeing what ours can do with a .50 cal Big Mac I'm more than inclined to grant him the title.

Nyles has been my internet handle for about 12 years now. In joke from junior high. I keep using it out of habit.

I was a detective with my agency for a few years (2003-2006) before I (voluntarily) returned to uniformed patrol.

I primarily investigated Financial Crimes (Fraud, bad checks, embezzlement, forgery ect.). I was the first detective in my agencys 100 (+) year history to be exclusively work fraud cases. Therefore I had to develop a system from the ground up. Very much an OJT (On the Job Training) situation.

The other cooler detectives took to calling me Checkman. Instead of getting pissy I decided to claim it as my own.

I'm 5'6", balding, wear glasses, married for 22 years and a father of two. I am anything, but twisted steel and sex appeal. So instead of a cool name like Cold Steel 45 or Talon 76 I went with Checkman.
