Every June there's an air show at the airport within walking distance of my house, but the last few years it hasn't been all that good. Just a bunch of sky-writers and whatnot. Occasionally get a few F18 or F16 fly-overs, though.

There was one year that they had F18s, F16s, U2s, A10s (man, do I love the sound the engines on those Hogs make ), F117s, and even a B2 bomber do fly-overs.

Cool. It would be nice to see those babies in the air, here we just see A4īs, Mirages, Pampas, Pucaras, Hercules and some old trainers.

It helps when you live within walking distance of both a civilian airport and a US Air Force base.
