Air Show-3/27/10

Every June there's an air show at the airport within walking distance of my house, but the last few years it hasn't been all that good. Just a bunch of sky-writers and whatnot. Occasionally get a few F18 or F16 fly-overs, though.

There was one year that they had F18s, F16s, U2s, A10s (man, do I love the sound the engines on those Hogs make ), F117s, and even a B2 bomber do fly-overs.

Cool. It would be nice to see those babies in the air, here we just see A4´s, Mirages, Pampas, Pucaras, Hercules and some old trainers.

It helps when you live within walking distance of both a civilian airport and a US Air Force base.

Those C-130s flying in close formation is impressive.
