I'd buy 14 and wear one every day

I'd buy 31---one for every day of the month.

I like Che. I don't like it when people slander his good name by saying he's communist. He's a Marxist idealogist, and revolutinary (and if MT2008 has anything to counter this, go ahead. I respect him, but it's like we're complete opposites). Anyway, I hope our relationship with Cuba improves now that we have a Democrat in office and Fidel's brother is Cuba's leader.

I thought I'd point out that Protest Warrior used to (maybe still do) sell shirts that have Che's picture and say, "War is never the answer...Unless you're a socialist guerilla!"

Sorry, but...you just lost major respect from me. You are exactly the kind of liberal I can't stand...the ones who are apologists for thugs like Che.

Che was very much a communist. Though admittedly, he was also a racist and a homophobe, which goes against Marxist ideology. Anyway, this book is pretty much the rebuttal to yourself and anyone else like you:

If only I had a time machine and enough old timey money to buy both a rifle with a scope and a plane ticket to wherever Che hung out...

Then how the hell do I get that respect back? I have a lot of respect for you and don't want to picture you as "the guy who pisses me off the most when this forum debates politics". If it would make you happy I'll renounce all of my views and go athiest.

You're a Roman Catholic who supports an atheist-communist. Isn't that sort of a weird contradiction by itself?

As for getting my respect back, not exactly sure you need it. Like MPM, I'm in a field where I often have to work with people whose political views I don't respect, and in some cases detest. But anyway, maybe the lesson from this topic is that we should just not have polarizing political debates at all.
