A totally sensible reason. Some of us have employers who wouldn't take kindly to a site like this (although fortunately, I don't think it would be a problem if my employer found out).

If you'd rather be called your user name, you're more than welcome to that option and we'll comply, it just seems like we all know each other well enough to not use our awkward and sometimes really long user names.
