Video game beta weapons
On the GTA4 page it was decided not to include beta weapons not appearing in the final game, but I notice on the Resident Evil 5 page, it includes the "Leon Handgun", a Remington 870, a 1911, and some kind of hybrid assault rifle from Dead Rising (?), all taken from early trailers from the game before its release.
Shouldn't one standard or the other be applied to all VG pages?

I agree, if its not in the actual game it should not be there.

I second that. But maybe we could have a little spot at the bottom for the beta weapons.

I think having it in a small trivia section could be appropriate.

Yeah, that seems like a good idea.

Well, since the consensus so far is to remove or separate beta weapons from final game weapons, I'm going to, for now, give beta weapons a separate sub-section on game pages that have them.
I started with the Resident Evil 5 page and gave it a bit of a cleanup while I was at it. It read like a 7 year old had written most of the descriptions.

Given how many kids are on IMFDB, how do you KNOW it was NOT a 7 year old who wrote the descriptions!

I have no problem with beta weapons, but they should be under a single heading with sub-headings afterwards, like on the "Half-Life 2" page.

I never said a 7 year old didn't write them, I'm just saying they read like one did.
