To be fair, I doubt anyone in the Army or MC is doing any MILES training with pistols due to so few actually being issued to infantry grunts. As for the AF, you have to keep in mind that their main priority is the $100 billion F-35 that
got its ass kicked in a mock dogfight by an F-16, so a BFA system for the M9 is way down on the list.
