The 442 is kind of an oddity as the 442 as a gun is supposed to have blued steel parts. That 442 is essentially a 642 that they didn't bother to anodize to match the stainless parts, or a 442 they didn't bother to put blued parts on depending on how you look at it.
I guess since the frame is blued (is was some sort of black) makes it a 442. Since both frames are alloy. I'd like to get a 438 in the future.
