Mosin Nagant
Will a Mosin Nagant rifle fire blank rounds without modification (one at a time, not in the clip)?

If you have a 7.62X54mmR blank round I'm sure that a Mosen Nagant Rifle will fire it. I've seen them chamber cartridge cases without a bullet. The question I have is why do you want to know?

That seems like a pretty silly question. This is a forum about guns used in movies. I want a firearm I own to shoot blanks. Take a wild, out of the blue guess what it's for.

Should be fine. I've used bolt action rifles to fire blanks lots of times. Some of them would cycle blank rounds out of the mag (303, 30-06), and some would not feed properly (7mm mauser) but would fire single blanks no problem.
All you can do is pick up the blanks and test it. |

Should be just fine. The Mosin magazine has an interrupter that takes pressure off the top round in the chamber, makes it feed really easy.
