Do we need to make an announcement re deletion sweep?
I'm probably going to start deleting a BUNCH Of new pages which suck. This may shock the anonymous newbies who (a) made them and (b) don't get the fact that we hate lame pages and (c) obviously didn't bother to read the rules and standards page.
I always give people a chance to upload screencaps and fix their pages, but I did a quick run through and there are a BUNCH of horrible pages which, according to IMFDB precedent, should be deleted until the owners decide to actually make a good page. Should I just remove their category tags for a while? And let them float for a little bit? I am soliciting input from other mods and veteran members. Delete hammer time? Or let them float for a few months? |

I say tag them for deletion and let them float a month or so. If no significant progress is done, delete hammer time.

Whenever I come across a lame page I usually remove the tags/categories and slap a "{noeffort}" on it.
I sometimes just use the {incompletepage} if I can tell that genuine effort was put into it. I say destroy them. |

I say make the database members only for starting new pages and then Delete all the garbage page. Heck I seem to end up cleaning up after loosers on a daily basis so can i make a 0 to Z sweep of the database removing crud pages?
