That wasn't too bad of a trade I guess, older Smiths do command a good price. Does your state allow private firearm sales? I know not everyone is comfortable with that though, but you usually come out better money wise.
I was surprised when I traded my G19 for the Model 60 I have now he went straight up. The M60 had only been there a few hours and he was asking $430 for it.
