I was in high school when Glock started importing the G17 into the United States. I remember the controversy about the "plastic" gun defeating metal detectors in airports and I witnessed Glock takeover the police market in the 90's.

I'm a product of my time and I like my Glocks. They work and they are reliable. They're my duty pistols. But I honestly consider them tools. My revolvers are different.
