I agree, this kind of thing should be actionable, even beyond MPM asking to simply remove the image. Unfortunately this kind of shit's done all the time. Big social media content aggregators (Buzzfeed and the like) are notorious for it. In their case, it's more egregious since massive sites like that can actually afford to pay the original source for the use of their content, to say nothing of checking and attributing the source.
