Simplistic unfortunately. Remember that
John Rabe was a Nazi party member. Early on many people joined the Party as a matter of course. The Party was itself defined by the twisted actions of many of its leaders. I know of other Nazi Party members who were hailed after the war as being one of the most famous being
Oskar Schindler. I don't suppose you support the shooting of Oskar Schindler even though HE was a party member now
