Default Boy Scout Film Project

A few monthes back, me and my Boy Scout troop went to a forest to shoot an amatuerish war film for our Film making Merit Badge. It's basically about a paratrooper getting captured by Left wing socialist Guerillas (who speak in faux German accents) and a rescue team going behind enemy lines to retrieve him. We use sticks to improvise as weapons (altought a guy named Daniel Brennan carried a pair of wooden revolvers). I played Coporal Marco O'Connell, third in command of the rescue team. I barely had any lines, so I just kept aiming my stick. I always imagined carrying a M2 Carbine (my favorite rifle) and a Webley Mk VI revolver as my sidearm, while the Captian carried a MAT-49 submachine gun, the Seargant carried a MAS-38 submachine gun, the two Privates (both are new scouts) carried Lee-Enfield No.1 MkIII rifles, and our light machine gunner carried a Browning Automatic Rifle.I imagined the guerillas would carry WWII Soviet and Nazi weapons. The leader, Chancellor Warsaw Stalin, would carry a MP-40 submachine gun. The rest of the guerillas are either carrying Mosin-Nagants, or Karibiner 98k's. We also made some sort of light machine gun out of logs and lashings that looked like a Lewis gun (the Guerillas used and Brenan carried it tying a rope on it to use as a sling). We used a dried up river as a setting and there was a small cave which we used for the Guerilla's base. I filmed the final battle at the bridge.
