Default Daylight's End thoughts

So I'm watching it on Amazon and making caps. Renting. I plan to buy the dvd/blu ray when it comes out to support. So far, it's a standard zombie shoot'em up movie. Looks like they are the 28 Days Later rage zombies, meaning that they are still people who are alive and body shots can take them down and also vampire like because exposure to the sun kills them...which I question if they all know that why wouldn't they have UV lights.

A lot of good tactical movements and use of guns for the most part. Except for many Lance Henriksen, but I give him a pass.

During the hotel scene, it was odd that they didn't bother to attach lights to any of their guns and needed to hold the light in their off hand.

Most of the ARs looked like 16in barrel ARs. Something tells me most of their guns could potentially be semi-auto only guns since I never see any of them fire full auto.

They made the sound effect for suppressed weapons louder than how we are used to hearing them in the movies, though they did do a "click empty" sound when a character's AR went empty.

The AR-18 or AR-180 most likely had some kind of cloth covering the handguard and stock.

Some scenes of shooting might be actually be post edit effects instead of actual blanks.

Also kinda find it a cool call back that Johnny Strong is using an M14 type rifle with a red dot with a 1911 back up reminding me of his role in Blackhawk Down. Also been awhile since I've seen Magpul 308 magpuls. Same with the A.R.M.S. SIR system on a rifle.
