Was it even that good of a show? (I was just joking, but at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they did make a movie of it.)
Charlie's Angels didn't work because unlike in 1976, audiences had more than four channels available and it just wasn't that good of a show. A lot of stuff back then were hits just because there wasn't a lot of competition.
That being said, I'd really like to see a reboot or continuation of
Miami Vice.
