Saw "American Sniper". I have mixed feelings about it. I was impressed by Bradley Cooper's performance, but that's about all - it's not as well-written as I expected. Too much expository dialogue from Sienna Miller as Taya, which is a hallmark of inept screenwriting. And in case anyone thought it was authentic, Brandon Webb
has already reviewed the movie for SOFREP.
I suppose I should give Clint Eastwood credit for going all the way in portraying jihadi burtality (the scenes with the drill), which has often been too much to ask of Hollywood.
