It wouldn't be bad if they'd follow our example a little more closely, but they're too arrogant to admit that anything devised by the Yanks/gringos/infidels works. If international law was what
we said it would be, I'd be all for it.
As for the EU, it isn't a bad idea in principle (much as I'd personally rather it didn't exist), but the idea of making it into an undemocratic super-state certainly is.
