Also, checking others, there seems to be a pattern:

*The bots always fill out their "about me" section. The biography will be "Man," location a random country, occupation the same as location, and interests the same as their account name. The bots which spammed the forums have this, too.
*They may have an ad for a spam program called "Xrumer." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XRumer

From a check of users who aren't banned and haven't posted since they registered, I get:

eltracer: about me section: http://www.imfdb.org/forum/member.php?u=136
JasminBerkova: Xrumer ad: http://www.imfdb.org/forum/member.php?u=74
JLoes: about me section: http://www.imfdb.org/forum/member.php?u=109
KlaraNovikoffa: about me section, Xrumer ad: http://www.imfdb.org/forum/member.php?u=76
LevitraES: bot seems to have screwed up and started trying to paste a spam ad into the location and occupation sections: http://www.imfdb.org/forum/member.php?u=95
