I took a look at the Resident Evil wiki to read up on the new Operation Racoon City game, and noticed something I thought was interesting about one of the player characters, Lawrence Kimbala
The wiki lists his date of birth as somewhere around 1970, and his birthplace as Zimbabwe. Since Zimbabwe was Rhodesia in 1970, this may mean that this character could be the first (technically) Rhodesian character in a video game
