You could always get a 9mm 1911, but I guess the point of having a 9mm is the capacity, not much with a single stack 1911. But I have come to the conclusion that capacity (no matter with the caliber gun) is overrated or it isn't everything.
Having issues with the mag disconnects will put you out of a lot of S&W autos, which can be had a good prices. But there's plenty other choices out there.
