Also on that note...Self defense doesnt always mean you have to kill some one. A .25 will stop a person from doing what they are doing but the dude has a chance to survive and learn and grow as a human...a .45 is usually a end game. So there is also those gun owner attitudes that bigger is alway better no matter what.
