Just a reminder, spoilers in the descriptions are bad, especially when it's NOT crucial to identifying the guns in a movie page.
It sucks to see:
"Actor A used a Glock 17 but was eventually shot with his own gun by hero, because he was the traitor all along but we only see this at the end of the movie, because he was the mystery killer who stole the diamonds and framed the hero but no one suspected him because everyone thought he was a woman ....."
WTF? (this example is a exaggerated fictional one, but you get the point). There was no reason to go into so much detail.
Just say
"Actor A used a Glock 17". End of story.
Good thing MOST of the worst examples were put on pages months or years BEFORE we listed the non-spoiler rule on the Rules & Standards page. For that, I am very proud of so many of our members, especially the new ones who actually read and abide by the rules.
Spoilers are unnecessary 99.99% of the time, but sometimes people don't realize that they don't have to explain the plot
in detail to be complete on the movie page.
Now some members slip and don't realize that they don't have to mention that a major character gets killer or what a major plot twist is, but we should all keep in mind that
sometimes people choose to see a film based on it's movie page here.
I've done that. Movies which I've never seen, looked very promising based on their movie & gun page, so I went out of my way to check out the movie. Kinda sucks when someone blurts out what the secret or major twist is before I've seen it.
