She's not overrated. Why? Because NO ONE expects much of a performance out of her in the first place.
She's a former actress in FRIENDS who manages to score major movie roles, but she isn't a driving force to see a movie, like Sandra Bullock or Julia Roberts. Their names on a marquee will guarantee the chick flick crowd into the metroplexes. Aniston's famous, right now much more for her personal life than her professional life, though, her personal life which is do much fodder for the tabloids, pushes her into more and more movie deals because she is so high profile.
