I wanted to add to my previous comments, as a few friends and I drove up to New York last night to see the film, as well as a Q&A session with the director and other crew.

Night of the Living Dead (1968)

I wanted to this out there and see if anyone was interested. I don't believe the gun listed on the IMFDB page is correct. I did a documentary on the zombie genre and the actor who played the police...

You can make blanks from any round. It just takes the brass and reloading, neither of which do I have. I assumed someone here knew someone who handloaded...

Looking for blanks for 1895 Nagant

I'm looking for blanks for a movie I'm working on for a 1895 Nagant revolver, either the rounds that are made for it (7.62), .32 S&W Long, or .32 H&R Magnum. I can't seem to find blanks in ANY of...

DOA but with the hammer spur?

I need some empty shells for a movie I'm shooting. Lots of empty shells. And I've heard that you can get them for a lot cheaper than buying shells and emptying them yourself. Where could I find these...

Gunbroker is great, but sometimes shipping is a little expensive. You gotta assume to add 25-30 for shipping and 10-25 for your FFL, if you don't have one. That gets pretty pricey.

Nagant 1895 - buy in person or online?

I put down a bit of money on a good, clean Nagant 1895 at a local shop. We agreed on $170. I am purchasing a few items from him, so I assume he'll be fine if I cancel and use that cash on something....

That seems like a pretty silly question. This is a forum about guns used in movies. I want a firearm I own to shoot blanks. Take a wild, out of the blue guess what it's for.

Mosin Nagant

Will a Mosin Nagant rifle fire blank rounds without modification (one at a time, not in the clip)?

The blank options are just as expensive as what I've got (a .22 derringer and a 7.62 Nagant, which can fire .32 S&W blanks).

Brandon Lee, if I'm not mistaken, wasn't even shot with a blank. They emptied normal rounds, which is incredibly stupid, to make the "blanks," because they showed them previously in the movie as real...
