A carbine and a pistol, plus a compact shotgun in your back. And you can carry more ammo, remember Vietnam and the Alice pack, those poor GIs were carrying a lot of weight in their backs.

Youīre right. Fist, use the magazine-based weapons. Then, when theyīre empty, use the shotgun or the revolver until you can find a safe place to reload the magazines.

Thatīs heavy. I mean, our guys in the army complains all the time about carrying 5x20 round magazines, carrying 6x30 would be a pain in the ass.
