I have actually searched google about this before I bought the rifle and I have found zero reports about it falling apart/wearing out. You probably just got a lemon.

The trigger pull is very light, Rifle was comfortable, the recoil was very manageable (though I let my friend shoot it and now he has a nice Harry Potter gash and he had a grotesque amount of blood...
