Uh, we're getting tons of new EMPTY pages from anonymous users....

Well not completely empty, but no movie poster and some gun listings. And these users don't bother to create a UserID. Since our views have more than tripled, I'm going to give them a little time, and then if they continue to create more LAME pages and don't fix the ones they've already created ... then DELETE TIME!

I think we should seriously consider only allowing registered users to edit.

Yeah, 90% of what unregistered users do is vandalize or start big ass argumnets, youtube comments section style

I agree, but there are SOME unregistered users who seem to try, but kinda don't get it .....

Well, ONE anonymous user in particular seems to have a fascination with cartoons or Disney Family films that are animated. I suspect he is a kid (and I mean a child (which is per the law anyone who is under the age of 14, whereas anyone between 17-15 are minors)). Now I don't dislike family friendly films, but many of them really don't have much of a claim to be on IMFDB. I don't want to dissuade new members from contributing, but LAME pages gotta go! We have it explicitly stated in the rules, a LAME page is NOT better than no page at all. It is better to have NO page than a lame page. It is better to have the few pages that we have be complete and awesome, than to have pages representing TONS and TONS of movies/TV shows/Anime/VG that are weak and lame.

Argggh.. This kid just doesn't get it. Contributing to IMFDB doesn't mean ADD EVERYTHING IN THE UNIVERSE. It means helping out existing pages as well.

I'm starting to lose patience with these unregistered users adding tons of useless pages! :(

I hate Disney movies that have guns in them. It's always the BAD GUY who has the gun:mad:

Let's see. Bambi ....oooo those evil hunters killed Bambi's mother!
Spirit - now THERE's politically correct revisionist history that will make you puke!
In fact, I don't see how anyone would come here and want to learn more about the cartoon GUNS (that are little more than representations of 'types of guns') in those films. It's not like people coming here to learn what guns were in HEAT or EQUILIBRIUM or THE MATRIX.

Well thank GOD that those PAGES are the most COMPLETE IN THE ENTIRE WIKI.

Perhaps we could add a category of pages that are deemed complete, those three as examples.
