Internal competition testing

I just watched a YouTube video of an HK-conducted test between the HK416 and the Colt M4...and surprise, surprise, the 416 won (but I'm not an operator, so maybe I don't understand :p).

Now, if these exact same tests were conducted by Colt, does anyone here doubt the M4 would come out superior?

Both companies would understandably be biased toward their own product.

I'm of the mind that tests like this should be conducted by third-party persons to avoid bias.

Thoughts?

That's a problem endemic in the industry. Same reason you'll never see a truly bad review of a modern firearm in a gun magazine - they same companies whose products they review buy all their advertising.

I tha the video where the m4 basically explodes after getting we? It as BS. I hink DI is outdaed and theres lots of good pison systems but the HK 416 is no the answer, ive seen tests where the 416 is ammo picky and shoos like 4 moa

Crap keyboard. DI=Direct impingmen, moa=minute of angle, etc.
