What is this gun?
 
Used as a prop in promo shoot for the USA series "Covert Affairs" It is a pistol of some sort, but what?

Nope. Almost none of SIG's pistols have an external safety, just a decocking lever.

p232 actually. Believer the 230 was only alloy or blued, the 232 is stainless.

Nope, both the P230 and P232 are available as blued or stainless. The difference is in the shape of the slides, especially the slide serrations. Read our own page for the guns.

You can see that the gun held on the poster for "Covert Affairs" has the cocking serrations of the P230.
