New Forum Rule: No Personal Attacks in Thead Titles
Hi, guys, I'm back for One day only and then off to Hong Kong (which I am NOT looking forward to, ever work with indigenous foreign crew who don't speak English all that well? Ahhhhhhhhhhh!)
Anyway, new rule here. NO Personal attacks or 'outing' (regarding someone's mistakes or lack of manners) on the IMFDB forums. No more "USERNAME" is stupid, a tyrant, a moron, an idiot, etc. as the title of your forum thread.
You CAN start threads generically noting your displeasure at mistakes in general and you can 'gently' direct some of your rants in the direction of some members, but we should NOT have thread titles (that are seen all the time) insulting, denigrating or criticizing members by their user name, regardless of whether they richly deserve it or not. Maturity dictates that you control your anger in public, whether or not a member is doing something really ridiculous.
I've ranted about noobs and kids and VG wannabes on the site in the past, but usually generically and did not target individual members preemptively as incompetent. So you can still exercise your free speech rights to rant about bad behavior of others on IMFDB. Just do it in the thread posts themselves. :)
Thank you for your cooperation.
