I've been watching Point Blank , in which a bunch of prison escapees hole up in a shopping mall somewhere in Texas. Texas State Troopers, a Ranger, and the FBI show up. The Feebs don't listen to a damn word of what the Ranger says and send in a team, who are promptly massacred. Later on the Troopers wipe the floor with some of the baddies with no casualties and almost all the Feds get capped :D

So you are essentially saying that Texas Rangers are badasses that rival the level of Charlie Bronson.
