Firstly, the group shot is an obvious shop with Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney leaning over at bizarre angles. Secondly, the pics of Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke firing look ridiculous with those dutch angles, screaming faces and horrible CG effects, which is not helped by the bizarre totally empty aerodrome background. Lastly, for some reason Matt Smith looks really weird in all of these photos (I think it is the costume) meaning that for some reason he looks like a Hot Toys replica of himself.

For reference though, when we make a page for this we can see in these that the future gun is actually built up from an AKM type rifle of some sort.

Has it been revealed yet which way people are going through time yet? I ask because unless they are ret-conning Sarah Connors DOB then her and Reese using an M4 and KSG makes zero sense unless Reese picks her up and goes back forwards in time, and if they did this then surely that would mean John Connor doesn't exist, right?

funkychinaman 10-30-2014 05:35 PM

It's just weird seeing Matt Smith as anything other than Doctor Who.

funkychinaman 10-30-2014 05:45 PM

At first I was appalled, but now I'm intrigued by how much of a train wreck it might be. Can he do a Holocaust film next?

Why do I have the feeling it's going to be painfully jingoistic and jerks off both the US and its military?

Excalibur 10-31-2014 03:17 AM

Isn't that ALL Micheal Bay movies?

I don't care show many new guns or gadgets are in it, I'm not going to blow my money on the newest Spunkgargleweewee game.

ANd for those who do not know what Spunkgargleweewee is, then look up Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw's review of Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

Excalibur 10-31-2014 06:21 PM

I'll rent it like always. I've stopped buying COD games since MW3. I will play this one because Kevin Spacy is in it. Ghost was boring as hell

I never pay full price. Wait a few months, buy it used from Gamefly or wait for a massive price cut.

S&Wshooter 11-01-2014 01:29 AM

My brother always buys them, so I don't have to pay anything to play, and I still don't play them

funkychinaman 11-01-2014 09:26 PM

I've yet to see a single film from the series, but if this thread is about new films and games, then I'd be remiss not to.

http://youtu.be/Skpu5HaVkOc

And couldn't they just make it an official crossover with The Transporter?

The Fast and Furious films are entertaining to say the least.

S&Wshooter 11-01-2014 11:33 PM

John Wick was pretty fun, would watch again. Reeve's acting doesn't matter too much, since Wick already doesn't seem the kind to talk too much, and his wife just died so he's depressed as well

Then it would make the character of The Transporter a villain and he's supposed to be the badass hero. Or they make an actual cross over where he isn't the villain.

Swordfish941 11-02-2014 09:02 PM

I just pre-ordered Far Cry 4. I hope it's just as good as the previous one.

And speaking of Far Cry 4, yesterday, I added a couple of new entires into the page.

Excalibur 11-03-2014 03:34 AM

I don't do pre order anymore. Last time I did, I got Resident Evil 6 and damn did that ruin the franchise for me.

funkychinaman 11-04-2014 03:14 AM

I imagine this might get a bit annoying after about half an hour.

I don't know why they're skipping 2061.

Swordfish941 11-05-2014 12:04 AM

Well, this looks interesting. Let's just hope it doesn't suffer from a out of nowhere ending like A.I.: Artificial Intellegence did:

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansit...news/?a=110529

And I hope that Neil Blomkamp expands out of his comfort zone, or he'll probably become the next Richard Kelly (and by that, I mean turning into a one trick pony).

Excalibur 11-05-2014 01:09 AM

So what's the social commentary of this new one? D9 is racist white people vs aliens (black people), Elysium is rich white people vs poor people - mostly Hispanics...

I'm going to guess it's "robots are people too".

I don't think it's necessary a bad thing for filmmakers to stick with what they know, although it differentiates great filmmakers from merely good or okay ones. John Woo, Kevin Smith and (gagging) Michael Bay are good when they stick with what they know, but are horrible when they don't, and I'm okay with that. Not every director can be Steven Spielberg or Robert Wise.

Excalibur 11-06-2014 02:01 PM

So I'm playing the new COD and I gotta say, I like Spacey's performance so far. I like the concept of the PMC thing but since this is COD...I am waiting to see how they screw this up.

funkychinaman 11-06-2014 08:03 PM

I know there was a lot of inflation in the seventies, but this seems a bit much.

If you're a fan of Mass Effect, it took Cerberus 4 billion credits to bring your character Shepard back to life.

It's gotten to the point that I'm willing to watch anything he directs. So the opposite of Michael Bay.

Same here.

And according to a friend of mine, he deduces the reason why Nolan's films are so good is that he adds a bit a class and intelligence in his films

funkychinaman 11-11-2014 08:27 PM

I know I'll be watching The Man in the High Castle.

I wonde why it's taken so long for The Man in the High Castle to get an adaptation of some sort.

funkychinaman 11-13-2014 01:10 PM

Buried in there is that Tom Hardy is up for Rick Flag, which would violate my own rule about actors double-dipping in the same "universe." Why, is there no one else?
