I saw The Amazing Spider-Man today. Awesome movie and pretty much an improvement over Raimi's trilogy.

I think my constant gripe with shooter games is that very few of them have the enemy AI programed to react to incoming fire. Games like Call of Duty and Gears of War, or others. The enemies will take cover but rarely are they ever programed to react when they are being shot at by you.
|
Do you mean like their body reactions suck? Like if you shoot a mook with a .357 and he just makes a little flinch and keeps on shooting at you? If so, you check out any of Rockstar's current-gen games like GTAIV or Max Payne 3. They are pretty good with that

I didn't write that. I mean reactions as in they know they are being shot at. When you do suppressing fire, the enemy is actually being suppressed. That the enemy is programed to dive to cover when they are being shot at and not just standing in the opening or some cases just ignore cover and charge towards you like idiots |
Kind of like Brother in Arms: Hell's Highway? It was a semi-decent game.

I'm probably going to finally watch "The Big Lebowski" all the way through tonight, since I borrowed a copy from my uncle.
I'm currently watching "Retroactive", another DVD I borrowed Edit: "Retroactive" is friggin' crazy. Also, I think the State Trooper in the film is just about the most incompetent law officer portrayed in a movie. |
Dammit, "The Big Lebowski" doesn't work

Preordered Aliens: Colonial Marines
|
Saw the Dark Knight Rises on IMAX and it was awesome
|
The new Spiderman movie was pretty good; I liked it better than the previous ones
Savages is pretty much a mediocre Direct-to-DVD movie that somehow got released to theaters |

Let's talk about the new Batman movie. It is a great character story, not entirely necessarily a Batman story but more of a Bruce Wayne story and his journey. Of course there are a few things I want to poke at, but I want to know who has NOT seen this movie
|
I haven't.

Okay, so I bought Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, Mass Effect 2, and L.A. Noire today
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is alright. Not great, but I'm at least getting my $10 worth. Mass Effect 2 is pretty fun. I wish I would have been able to track down a copy of the first one that wasn't in unusable condition, though, so I could have played it first. L.A. Noire isn't really all that great, in my opinion. I'll probably return it tomorrow, because I don't see myself playing it very much. |

ME2 is amazing. You could just download the comic of the first game to get the choices you want for the second game you are playing now and Kane & Lynch 2...was a waste of my money |
I haven't seen TDKR yet either.
|
I've decided I never want anything to do with Mass Effect.

Because someone decided to piss me off by spending three months attempting to completely whitewash the game on another wiki.
Only some of that is fabricated.:p |

There's also the fact I'm just generally not that into Western RPGs.

DKR was amazing.

In other news, I've been playing Assassin's Creed II obsessively for the past 3 days. Far better than both Brotherhood and Revelations. |

I ordered a copy of Mass Effect on Amazon, since I can't find one in playable condition anywhere locally

I'm still crossing my fingers in the hopes that they'll do a prequel centering around the assassination of Alexander the Great. |
I was hoping AC3 was going to take place in China since the short animated film Ember had a Chinese Assassin. We Chinese needs some representation here.
