Swordfish941 07-27-2010 09:21 PM

I heard they're making another film version of All Quiet on the Western Front , this time with Daniel Radcliffe as Paul Baumer.

Wicked6 07-29-2010 03:02 AM

Machete is going to be an awesome movie. Guns and fire... Complete action. Can’t wait until the movie hits the screens.

Swordfish941 07-29-2010 07:24 PM

One film I'm really looking forward to see is The Green Hornet, since I'm a comic book enthusiast. I'm kind of surprised that Seth Rogen would take such a physically demanding role.

The Expendables

The expendables looks tactically epic and manly

Come on, this movie is the height of balls. Guns, a hot chick and an all star cast of bad asses.

The only actors this movie is missing is JCVD, Bruce Campell, Steven Seguel, Wesley Snipes, Jackie Chan, and Chuck Norris

But anymore manliness into this movie and they'll all be competing on who'll be the hero and who'd played the bad ass villain.

Gunmaster45 07-30-2010 03:45 AM

I just saw Salt yesterday, it was pretty awesome, and no real evident gun mistakes. The plot keeps switching around a lot though, which both keeps you interested but annoys you. Guess it depends who's watching it.

Excalibur 07-30-2010 04:48 AM

She had 4 mags clipped together and only used 2 of them...Why did they bother with 4 when all she was going to use was 2? And why didn't she take that rifle with her, collapsed and helping her fight with the last villain. Seriously, he kept the President alive so he can use the football, but then it seems like anyone can use it as long as he has the President's hand print, which make no difference anyway.

Swordfish941 07-31-2010 02:13 AM

I think I might buy American Psycho. Is it any good?

S&Wshooter 07-31-2010 02:15 AM

Just saw The Crazies. Once again, Romero has made a fantastic movie. Also, the S&W Model 28 is treated like the hand of god, which is just friggin' awesome

Aside from the EOTech mounted backwards, but that one made me laugh, so I let it pass. :p

S&Wshooter 08-01-2010 11:49 PM

Saw Salt earlier today. It was good, but it had more twists than a pretzel

Swordfish941 08-02-2010 12:27 AM

I heard that there's a third Batman movie in the makes. They just finished the script and the Riddler is going to be a villian. I suggest Hugh Laurie to play him.

S&Wshooter 08-02-2010 06:17 AM

I played MW2 for the first time in a few months. I whupped my cousin and brother's ass 4 times in a row (we were playing split screen)

Spartan198 08-02-2010 09:23 AM

I pissed off a bunch of guys playing it online last night and they all tried to gang up on me.

But I still ended up kicking their asses and coming in third for that round. :D

Excalibur 08-02-2010 07:07 PM

I really love the new patch in the recent Resurgence map pack that fixed the F2000 so it doesn't suck. Reduced recoil and better accuracy.

Spartan198 08-02-2010 11:30 PM

I'll have to get that map pack, then.

I'm now torn. I only have the money for one movie this month and I can't decide between Expendables, Scott Pilgrim, or Vampires Suck.

The action movie/firearms junkie in me wants to see Expendables.
The comic book nerd in me wants to see Scott Pilgrim.
And the Twilight hater in me wants to see Vampires Suck.

:(

Expendables. Unless you are the kind of person that Mr. Ventura is refering to... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IctBSH5a9Sw

Swordfish941 08-02-2010 11:54 PM

I want to see Scott Pilgrim. I mean, what's hotter than Mary Elizabeth Winstead with blue hair and a giant mallet?

Valid point.

Swordfish941 08-03-2010 03:55 AM

I like how the movie adds effects to make it look like a comic book.

RULE OUT VAMPIRES SUCK, RIGHT NOW.

If you don't know, the same people who are responsible for all of those "...Movie" shit-fests are producing and directing this one, as well. Unless you actually like destroying your brain with the celluloid equivalent of cyanide, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Scott Pilgrim...I dunno. It seems like it'll be great to watch once it hits Starz or HBO. But I can't see myself paying money to sit in a theater for it.

And The Expendables...on the one hand, it's supposed to be the man's action movie. On the other hand, so was Rambo, and I haven't entirely forgiven Stallone for that one yet.

k9870 08-03-2010 11:02 PM

The expendables will be awesome, its finally what we want, a old school action movie thats supposed to be fun to watch. Too many new movies try to preach a message, this is about having a good time watching things blow up.

Swordfish941 08-04-2010 10:52 PM

I might buy Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas. I read the book and it was magnificent.

S&Wshooter 08-05-2010 12:08 AM

I'm thinking about rounding up a few of my friends and going to go see Inception on Friday

Spartan198 08-05-2010 01:27 AM

I watched The Boondock Saints II last night. It was an all right movie, but wielding Desert Eagles akimbo is so cliche these days...

I know, I wish they kept their 92s. I mean, custom 92s like with compensators or something would be cooler than Desert Eagles.

Coincidentally, it was free on Starz on demand and I too watched it last night

Gunmaster45 08-05-2010 04:11 AM

After seeing all these previews for The Expendables, I'm not sure how good it'll be. Sure, it may be an action packed movie and all but with critic descriptions like:
"If testosterone and an explosion mated and had a baby, this would be it."
and
"A Man-gasm."

These descriptions make this movie sound so red-meat and hamfisted I'm not sure anyone will be able to contain it. Keep in mind, this movie has lots of action heros, but none of these guys are oscar winners. This movie will probably be a razzie-winner galore.

One thing I noticed in the preview though is Sly is seen fanning a revolver (looked like a Colt DS) and when he's done clearing a room of baddies with it, the cylinder is still spinning. Now no revolver functions with this being possible so I'm wondering if it was edited weird for the previews or if this movie is going to be full of gun things that make no sense.

S&Wshooter 08-05-2010 05:37 AM

Just saw Gamer. It was ok, but parts of it made me sick

Basically anything to do with that morbidly obese man right? And all those hot girls who got shot for no good reason.

I was pretty much in disbelief to see when he was drunk as hell that he pissed and threw up in an ethoyl only truck and got it to run. Not to mention he wasn't drunk after that, which is pretty much bs.

Well I can be at times but with that post I wasn't trying to be. haha

When you're cynical, you remind me of Tyler Durden from Fight Club.

You know the rules. Don't talk about Fight Club.

I'd love to be as cool as Durden so AWESOME. :D

And the first rule of Fight Club was don't talk about Fight Club, but since it spread across the entire country, that's obviously not a well enforced rule.

So you're saying that you want to be a traveling salesman selling leftover liposuction fat disguised as bars of soap.
