The Boondock Saints II
(No, this isn't about the movie itself; it's a technical issue)
I have been trying to screencap "The Boondock Saints II" since last night, and I'm having trouble. Whenever I try to run the Blu Ray through VLC, my images keep coming back with a whole bunch of artifacts, which looks really messed up. I've never had this problem with any other Blu Ray before. Does anyone else use VLC and have any idea what the problem might be? I've also looked at the VLC forum; no help so far. |
I use VLC to watch stuff, don't cap with it as the skipping, pausing and fast forward/rewind don't work well for me. What do you mean by "artifacts" exactly? Sometimes when I skip a scene it comes back very pixely and I can't see shit until the scene changes to a diffe3rent angle or something.

OK, I just re-installed VLC, and somehow, it works again. Not sure what got messed up, but it works again now.

So who's doing that page? Cause I was told to stop because someone got the Blu Ray

I always use media player classic for my caps. It's always worked for me although I don't have a blu-ray player or anything like that so I don't know if it would help.
http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/ Worth a shot anyway I guess. Oh dear, I guess I'll have to learn to read more than the first post.. Meh |
MT is already doing this page and he does have the Blu-ray, so let him do it
