Decided to give driving up to University of Houston a try because riding the bus takes too damn long, and decided to stop at a gas station near campus. When I was waiting in line to check out, I spotted a Harris County Sheriff's Deputy packing a first gen S&W Sigma. It looked like a toy at first glance. It seems that the Galveston and Harris county deputies get a whole hell of a lot more freedom in what they can carry than the police departments in the area; I keep seeing 1911's, S&W 5946's, and S&W 4046's. I even saw a tiny little woman deputy packing a nickel plated Colt Python a while back.

I think I've dated her or at least as close as currently possible.

I was in love with her for, like, two years back when SAC was flavor of the month for me (I still like it, just don't watch it as much).

On an unrelated note, every time I do a web search related to HALO (you know, the military freefall technique), 99% of the results are for that fucking video game and I'm getting sick of it. :mad:

Maybe you should search for the term instead of the acronym then. Or tag "jump" on the end of it.

I do, but after the first two rows I start seeing almost nothing but pics of Master Chief, his helmet, his armor, his enemies, his allies, etc..

I got all my Life Membership stuff from the NRA in the mail this morning

You know, one thing I miss about the 80s was that back then every kid knew that our cars were going to have secret machine guns. I'm not entirely sure what we were going to do with them, but 2013 has a distinct lack of secret machine guns and I can't help feeling cheated.
