Since Aliens was the last good Aliens film, the rule should just be "Stop when James Cameron bails".

Genisys wasn't nearly as bad as reviews made it out to be. But if they're retconning a second movie out of continuity, I think they really need to just lay the franchise to rest.
And while I do like Genisys, I've always felt that Salvation was the perfect ending point as events had come full circle with John finally finding Reese and giving him the photo of Sarah. |

I think because Salvation came out after Transformers 1 and there was that famous scene with Scorponok and it was just like this slinky robot thing
What bothers me all the time with Terminator is why would machines think the "head" of a robot is the best place for the CPU when clearly a spot deeper in the torso that's protected by more metal is the better place. |
I really liked Salvation. It should have either been the ending point as mentioned above. Or, in a perfect world, been the first movie of the trilogy about the actual war.
Tired of the time travel parts. I want to see John Connor leading the Resistance and killed T-600s. |
That does sound like a nice end to 3 movies. Cap off the story with the loop. John meets his dad, saves his life and starts teaching him things and the movie fast forwards and ending to where he sends his dad back in time and we loop to remastered footage of Terminator 1 and that's the loop. No need for any more sequels or in betweens or retcons

Hey kids, all aboard the Hype Train! *choo-choo* My only gripe with this film is that Ramin Djawadi isn't returning to compose the score (thanks to his work on Game of Thrones, he's become one of my favorite composers). |
So CBS's new SWAT show has the police with blue lasers. Might be the fist time anyone's used them in a movie/TV show.
Aside from that, it has potential. the pilot was a rushed mess that has a terrible forced Black Lives Matter plot, a rushed OTT ex-military bank robber plot, and Hondo's romance with his now-boss plot. Street is a stupid hothead, though I will admit he drives well, and Obligatory Female Character is a bit flat, but meh. |

So, is anyone surprised the pilot featured a plot centered around an unarmed black man being shot by a white police officer?
|
It's almost...almost trying to bait people to make it an issue when...no one cares anymore
Episode 2, Hondo takes a shot with a 10in 416 from a moving helicopter and gets a head shot. Then there's a scene where the guy was storming the house with a shotgun and instead of shooting the guy when he enters, they jump him, trying to grab the weapon. Bullshit. There's a lot of grappling suspects that are clearly being a threat vs shooting them, even during the training scene in the beginning of episode 2 |

When I was watching the previous scene when Hondo asked for a favor, I joked about asking for a helicopter and then...they brought a helicopter unironically....and I kept shouting that I was fucking joking

It'd be one thing if it was a Bell 206 or Eurocopter AS350 actually used by the LAPD, but a Black Hawk?

It's no surprise. There's been government funding for police departments for years. People are against the so called militarization of the police force.
|

And I don't know how you can question the militarization of the police. The government is literally giving them surplus military equipment. |
I'm happy to report that the second season of Strike Back actually has blank-fire weapons in it rather than airsoft.

It's more of the "military-style" stuff the media is fond of where it's a shorthand for "scary." |

So Belgium's banning loot boxes and Hawaii's brining it up in the US. Bet EA's really happy about their recent decisions :D

I'm glad EA is getting hit with this and I hope this escalate to bans because loot boxes in game that requires you to pay real money to get a random item to artificially make you ahead of the game is bullshit |

Pinball machine were banned in many parts of the country for decades, also for gambling reasons. Paddles were added later, and it was successfully argued that it was a game of skill, rather than just chance. |
