Thanks. The MR-73 was just a flukey find. The previous owner owned a local Honda dealership and was a huge gun collector. As in hundreds of pieces.

But in 2008 he was diagnosed with Cancer. By the time they caught it he was in end stage and only had a few months. He gave away all of his guns to his friends and family members. Whatever was left over (perhaps fifty some pieces all togther) were sold off. The MR-73 was one of those sold off. I traded a S&W 686 and a nice trap model Winchester Model 12 shotgun for it. I figured I would probably never see one an MR-73 for sale again. Certainly not here in Idaho.

They're all very good shooters. The Glocks and the Model 49 Bodyguard are my duty pieces. I usually carry either the Model 49 or the Glock 26 when off duty. Now that it's getting colder and I'm wearing sweaters and sweatshirts I like to carry the G19 on my belt.

I envy your Colt Trooper and Colt Lawman.

The Trooper was the duty gun of Earl Lee Swagger.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who caught that. lol

Based on my investitgation into the Arkansas Highway Patrol, Earl Lee should have been packing a S&W M&P with a 4 inch barrel.

I assumed that the Arkansas HP would have been carrying either the M&P or Official Police in the early fifties. But Earl Lee Swagger with a puny .38 Special revolver? No way.
