Western Movies with semi-automatic handguns

Hey there,

i recently watched my favorite western movie "The Wild Bunch" and i was wondering, if there other western movies with semi-automatic handguns like the M1911 Series, Starmodel B or maybe other variants.

i know for sure, that there are following:

il grande silencio ( Mauser )
The last hard men
they came to cordura
the professionels
il mercenario
joe kidd
Duck, you Sucker
Last Man Standing
Arriva Sabata
Big Jake

but maybe there are more ??

I'll hope you can help

thanks and greetings from germany

joker

Edit: i will take your posts and put them in my list

Joe Kidd had a Mauser also.

Duck, You Sucker (A Fistful of Dynamite) had a few. A lot of the guns in the movie were anachronistic though.

Don't know if this counts as a western, but Last Man Standing is pretty much a love letter to the M1911A1. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing...

Good call...that totally count as a western in my book.

Last Man Standing is basically an Ode to the .45.:D

Several Spaghetti westerns use Astra 400s, I guess because many were filmed in Spain. The Mercenary and Arriva Sabata come to mind. There's a John Wayne movie called Big Jake with a Walther P.38 that's mocked up as a Bergmann 1896.

Last Man Standing is a Prohibition era remake of Yojimbo, so it's technically a Samurai Movie

And A Fist Full Of Dollars is a western remake of Yojimbo. Can't Hollywood come up with something original?:D
