Dark Knight gun questions

I can't tell if this is an M16 or an M4. Can you guys help me?

Also, the last time I check this, one of the photos in the http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Dark_...#Beretta_PM12S section can't load properly.

It looks like a carbine to me. Barrel looks too short to be an M16.
