Heat retrospective.

The subplot with Natalie Portman does make the film drag a bit.

well, they mentioned having a female member of the Team....

Guess we're allowing girls on ODA now, too.

I bet they don't even use Mini-14s with factory folders on them.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Maybe they'll actually be accused of committing a real crime this time. If some commandos few into Syria and stole millions of dollars from ISIS, they'd be lauded as heroes, not locked up.

Interesting bit about Damien Lewis as a possible replacement. I suppose if the world got over a blond Bond, a ginger Bond shouldn't be too hard.

Court agrees that Lockout ripped off Escape from New York.

I just saw the movie Sicario and it was pretty good. Though Emily Blunt wasn't as convincing as an FBI Agent as she did as a badass alien killing soldier in Edge of Tomorrow. Maybe it's because her figure doesn't convey that she's this frontline "door kicker" that the movie was telling us about. The first part that took me away was during the opening scene of them breaching the Cartel house and she fell while unloading full auto on a guy. Also hearing the Delta guys at the end of the film firing in full auto also took me out for a second.

I liked the movie as well, went really fast for a 2 hour movie. Blunt's character didn't have a problem shooting someone when a gun was pointed at her, but just wouldn't execute someone. As Del Toro said to her you're not a wolf. I knew the dinner scene would turn out bad, just didn't think it would go that far.

I just picked up my copy of Fallout 4. From what I have heard, the game definitely lives up to the hype.

Breakout movie for one of the best filmmaking teams today, Oscar noms for screenplay and editing, overall great job by all the actors, "only" fifteen years old.

What's the plan here? I'm not going to say it's impossible to improve, but there's a 99.7% chance it'll be worse. So why bother?
