Need help with avatar

I cannot add an avatar for my profile; When I want to upload or link a file, it says "invalid file". Tried jpgs and gifs, none of them work. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

I think there's a limit on file size.

File size isn't the issue, I have tried to do it before and couldn't get it to work. I tried various sizes and resolutions (ranging from at to way below the stated limit) along with various file types and nothing worked.

Remind me in 24 hours via a post on my talk page to look into this? I'm traveling at the moment but I will get into this as soon as i get home tomorrow night.

Same here. I tried a variety of different images and got nothing.

It says that you need a limit of 80x80 or 19.5 KB, but barely you can't find a good image thats small. I can't even find the filter to set images small on Google.

You can always use an imaging program to resize an existing image.

Bump of my own since I wanted to put an av as well and I've had the same problem.

I figure it might be some issue with a setting on the board or something.. If someone could look into it that'd be great, but if not, no biggie.
